The Village will ,house athletes and officials during ,the London 2012 Games. After the Games, it will provide thousands ,of new homes, with a mix of affordable, housing, and homes for sale ,and rent. New pictures have been published showing the latest progress on the construction of the Olimpic Village. images, show the progress ,we are making on site, keeping us on track to deliver quality ,new homes for Londoners together, with new parks, public squares and ,community facilities. The ,development will include 11 residential blocks, each made, up of five to seven, buildings.

The foundations of ,several buildings ,have been completed ,and work is already under way on the ,ground floor levels, of the first residential, buildings.. ‘Our discussions on ,the funding of the Village ,are continuing and in t,he meantime the acceleration of activity ,on site will help maintain the m,omentum of this huge project.’
